C. John Jossart is a commercial litigator specializing in employment litigation and counseling for corporate clients on both a local and a national basis. While representing employers in state and federal court on a wide variety of employment-related litigation matters, he also handles discrimination charges before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state human rights agencies. His practice consists of counseling clients through the spectrum of employment issues, including FMLA leave, ADA and FLSA compliance, wage and hour audits, discipline, terminations, drug testing, and background checks. He also possesses extensive experience negotiating and preparing employment agreements, drafting and auditing employee handbooks, conducting investigations, and performing sexual harassment training for management and employees.
John has been named a Rising Star by Minnesota Law & Politics for the last four years and is a member of the Savage Chamber of Commerce.
